Making sure the welfare and progress of your students is monitored is essential for achieving quality outcomes in your training and assessment. The elements of an effective student engagement and support systems are as follows:
Specific LLN and Digital Literacy Levels students must possess to be successful for each of your training offerings,
Testing arrangements to determine whether students possess those levels at enrolment or prior to commencement of the course.
Milestones you have identified to track each student’s progress.
RTO-specific personnel who interact with each student, record their progress, and are aware of each student’s personal welfare. These areas can be tackled by trainers or as a team effort involving trainers and back-office staff.
If necessary, a register which shows the progress of each student.
Documentation which records evidence of student support.
