A Continuous Improvement System
A Continuous Improvement System demonstrates your commitment to quality, assists in monitoring and evaluating the RTO’s performance, holds all of your staff and trainers accountable to addressing issues you encounter, and results in excellent outcomes for the way you conduct operations.
An effective CI system consists of just two elements: A CI Register, and a regular CI meeting to discuss the items on it. Outside of these meetings, when issues or opportunities for improvement are discovered, these are entered in the CI Register. At each CI meeting (we recommend holding monthly meetings) participants discuss each item that is not resolved and decide the actions required to address the item; those responsible for implementing the actions; and deadlines for when the item is resolved.
We can provide a CI Register in spreadsheet or SharePoint List form, Facilitation of your regular CI Meeting with key stakeholders in your RTO, and the population and maintenance of your CI Register.
The beauty of a CI system is that the four other quality systems below can link or feed into it. When integrated with your CI Register, they form a robust self-assurance system that demonstrates your commitment, capability and focus on ensuring sustained compliance to the RTO Standards, and quality outcomes through effective training and assessment.
